The whole incident happened nearby the Aman Suria. Juleen and I were heading to church that evening (13 August). I was on a relax mode, driving and talking with Juleen, like usual…

Then all of the sudden, a red Proton Wira dashed out from the junction. In that split second, everything seemed slow and clear. I saw the uncle and aunty’s face at the front seat. They looked calm. But FOR ME… I was so panicked. The first thing that came into my mind, was “This is it, another accident series added to my life”. At the same time, I realized Juleen’s life was in danger since the red Proton Wira heading straight towards Juleen’s direction.

I quickly steered the car to the right. It happened so fast that in less than a second I was already at the opposite of the road. After bringing the car to halt, I quickly looked back at the Proton Wira’s plate number (something I learnt through experience).

(My car is the blue square and the uncle’s is in red).

Miraculously, there are no car, motorcylce or worst still a truck passing by. Else I’ll end up killing a motorcyclist or got killed by the passing by truck or car. At that speed, I am sure if the red Proton Wira was to bang into my car, my car will definitely go turn turtle.

You know what was more shocking? The uncle actually drove off without even stopping. If not for the trauma, I will definitely give the uncle a chase. Besides, I have to quickly change lane to avoid the incoming cars. I think the uncle is really terrible… he could have stopped the car at the side of the road and apologize

Juleen and I were a little furious and our initial plan was to lodge police report. At the end, we didn’t since the whole practice at church ended very late.

But I remember you, the red Proton Wira with car registration BFM 2150. Don’t let me see you on the road again, or else I will …………………… give you a long lecture… hehe!

Remember in any case if you get into accident, do the following:-

1. Jot down the car registration number, type of car and color of the car.

2. Check the your condition and the passengers in your car (if any).

3. If you think the another party is hostile and something suspicious, then avoid stepping out from your car. Drive straight to the police station.

4. Make police report. Never settle anything outside the police station. Another party might make police report and accused you for causing the accident.
