My Radical Fund Manager…
18 Jun
This post is dedicated to my Fund Manager who:-
1. Believes in me by giving me a chance to join the Industry. He always reminded us, that we’re the cream of the crop (I know that is a SACARSM)…
2. Is a CRITICAL THINKER. His questions are so RADICAL until we are out of ideas to BULLSH*T during the research meeting. He always reminded us that, it is for our good eventhough it lower our self esteem…
3. Is a GOOD MENTOR. For the past 2 years working, I have learnt a great deal in finance and investment. He will never fail to guide eventhough it is never easy to get a STRAIGHT answer from him…
4. Is the person (and the team also) that convert me from a Pizza Hut lover to Domino’s. And by the way, that is one of the question, he asked during my job interview…
5. Is the most GENEROUS Fund Manager on the planet earth. He has no problem to buy us expensive meals, dropping us home and giving us good gifts. Trust me, when I say generous, it is generous…
6. Is the Fund Manager that inspire me to become a good photographer. The rest of the investment team together with him has great influence for my passion in photography…
7. Is a Good Friend. No pressure talking to him eventhough he is my superior. We can talk, joke, crap, laugh and etc. Work is work, friend is friend. I like it that way…
Enough of 7 compliments, now the worse 3…
8. Has the worst mood swing. One day he is happy, another day he is angry. But without the mood swing, it will not be him…
9. Has the most problem with gout. Eventhough he knew he has critical gout problem, he would stubbornly eat all the food that will aggravate gout. The next day he has problem walking… (scratching head)
10. Is the Worst Spender I ever met. No, that is not generous. He would normally spend money without second thought. He has so many things that sometimes it is hard to think what he doesn’t have…

Now that he is no longer with the team, I wanna wish him:-
ALL THE BEST IN YOUR FUTURE ENDEAVOR
Hope to see you around. As you said, “This is a small world… maybe our path will cross again.”
