My friend, TC was saying we have not been updating blueepinkk.com as frequent anymore. Furthermore the contents of the blog were all about the coming wedding. It’s boring!!! Well he has the POINT…

It is because of the same reason, I have not written much. I hope I won’t get killed by Juleen for saying this. To be frank, on top of my hectic work schedule, my life has been revolving around wedding photoshoot, preparing guest list, choose photo for the wedding album and blah blah… Tell me, what is there exciting to write about? Haha…

Well the latest news was, we have gotten the key to our new house at Casa Tropicana last Saturday. You bet, both of us are super excited until we walk into our unit and realized…

The hall is empty…

The Kitchen is also empty…

Everything is empty..

You know what does that mean to me? It means I need more TIME (only 2 months 18 days left for our wedding) and I need more MONEY…

Headache!! Headache!!

Stress!!! Stress!!! Stress!!!

When I have headache due to stress, I SLEEP. So I am gonna stop writing and hit the bed soon, so goodnight people…!

At the mean time, pray I will have enough time and money to prepare for my wedding and renovate my house. If you don’t want to pray, just give me your money or time… hahahaha!

We’ve  received good news today that we will be getting the keys to our new condo in few days time very excited…

God is very good to us, we were blessed with SenHeng cash vouchers of RM 1200 from my dad…THANKS DAD! Been so blessed and overwhelmed…

These vouchers will be put to good use into our 42″ LCD tv fund that we wanna buy for our new home

We’re almost 80-90% done with our shopping for home stuffs. We are very much left with furnishing the unit once we get the key

We are so occupied with time every weekend until we can’t even have a good rest for the past few weeks. But our efforts are not wasted because we managed to get good deals for our home stuffs…

Since our last purchase, we have added:-

- kitchen appliances, i.e. hood, hob and oven;

- and all the lights for the condominium…

Next, we will need to hunt for curtains and other home appliances. We have spent a lot of money for the 80 – 90% and we’re glad we’re still within our allocated budget. I guess RuehYinn’s constant reminder works…haha!

Anyhow, we can’t wait to set up and start putting the furnitures into our love nest Really thrilled!

Many people asked us why we didn’t update our blog for quite some time. Lets us enlighten you guys…

It’s because we are busy hunting for furnitures for our new home for the past 2 weekends and some weekday nights too when we have the time.

Getting the unit’s floor plan was quite troublesome too, we had to chase the management to fax us the plan for days.

Ahhh…so many errands to do and many more furniture to see. Having said that it’s been a great experience preceding to our wedding. Getting the house ready and preparing for marriage concurrently is no easy task. Stresssss… I’m sure many to-wed couples agree to what we are experiencing now.

After paying the 2.1% deposit of our new house, RuehYinn has been talking alot about renovation of the house, furnitures…etc. As for me, I start looking out for good deals on newspaper ads on warehouse sale or clearance sale whatever sale on furnitures and electrical goods. We havent even gotten the keys yet, but expected in 2-3 months’ time the property will be ours, but still we are very excited already. hehe

After another weekend of viewing so many unit of condos, that we hardly remember which unit is which type or facing what view, and even tonnes of research on the internet to see that we really got a good deal..At last, we are very close to closing a deal with a property that we like, reasonably good location and good price! It’s in Tropicana ^ ^

So people, start saving up for our house warming gifts!

Now, RuehYinn is already starting to think of what kind of renovation we should do for our love nest. hahaha
