Pasta Zanmai @ 1 Utama Shopping Centre
Today, my colleagues and I have lunch at Pasta Zanmai at 1 UTAMA Shopping Centre. If you guys don’t know, my working place is just next to 1 UTAMA. The good news is, the bill was on the company… hehe. For the past 2 months, we’ve managed to hit our sales target. So it’s time for the company to give us a treat as a reward…
While on the way to Pasta Zanmai, we bumped into our director. He asked us whether we going for our healthy meals since we are nutritionist. We merely replied with a light nod. But back of our minds we know we are going for a heavy and satiate meal, as we were quite hungry by then…

1) Chuka Wakame (Seasoned Seaweed)
2) Hotate Teriyaki (Grilled Scallop with Teriyaki Sauce)
3) Kani to Avocado (Crabmeat and Avocado Salad with sesame sauce)
For main course, we have…
4) Meat Sauce no Omu rice (Fried Tomato Chicken Rice topped with Omelette and meat sauce)
5) Ebi to Ika Yaki (Prawn and Squid Fried pasta)
6) Chicken Katsu no Meat Sauce ( Fried Chicken Cutlet meat sauce pasta)
and
7) Ebi Tempura no Gomadare Shitate (Prawn Tempura pasta, topped with sesame sauce)
For our drink, we have…
Ice fruit tea
Last but not least, the best part, the dessert. Yummy~~
Sansu Mori (Combination of black sesame, green tea and chocolate ice cream)
Pasta Zanmai is a Japanese casual pasta restaurant that caters for people who likes pasta with a fusion blend. The food is great and the price is mediumly ranged. The portion for the main entree is quite big. So if you guys are small eaters, I suggest to order for 3 people and share with 4 people.
For four of us the bill came up to almost RM200 as we ordered quite abit of food to fill up our hunger. But at the end we were very stuffed and did not have much space for more dessert anymore. So we only ordered one dessert to share.
You guys should try if you would like to have a taste of Japanese fusion food…
